One day the LORD will free
all the captives of Zion,
and we'll be like dreamers,
our hearts full of joy.

All the world will praise the LORD
for the great things He has done,
so many great things to them,
and so many great things to us.

We shall laugh and sing
and be glad that they are free.
O LORD,
set all the captives free
as the streams in the south.

shall reap and rejoice!

bearing precious seed,

but he will come again with joy

Psalm 126 - A Song of degrees.

When the LORD turned again the captivity of Zion,

we were like them that dream.

Then was our mouth filled with laughter,

and our tongue with singing:
then said they among the heathen,

The LORD hath done great things for them.

The LORD hath done great things for us;

whereof we are glad.

Turn again our captivity, O LORD,

as the streams in the south.

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth,

bearing precious seed,

shall doubtless
come again with rejoicing,

bringing his sheaves with him.
